Jennifer’s Journey was created by Bev Sanders,
founder of Manifesta Corporation. Bev began the company
in 1997 when she designed and founded the highly successful
Las Olas Surf Camp for Women. Las Olas, now considered "The
World's Premier Surf Safari for Women," has introduced
guests to the sport and lifestyle of surfing. Bev went
on to start Artista Creative Safaris and Las Verdes
Golf Safaris in
Carmel-by-the-Sea, California.
Jennifer’s Journey compliments Manifesta’s
goal to offer women vacations that combine fun, relaxation
and new experiences, while fostering friendships, confidence,
and self-esteem. With the mantra "we make girls
out of women," Manifesta is committed to helping
women reach their full potential.

Bev is a passionate traveler who has made a lifelong
commitment to empowering women. At the age of 44, Bev
took a surfing lesson while on vacation in Maui. The
experience inspired her to launch Manifesta’s
Las Olas Surf Safaris, the first surf camp for women,
at a time when surfing was a male-dominated sport.
Las Olas became quickly known as “the Golden
Door of surf camps” and inspired thousands of
women to paddle out and catch their first wave. Prior
to that, Bev co-founded one of the first snowboard
companies and was recognized as the Pioneer
Woman of Snowboarding by Transworld Snowboarding Magazine.Bev lives and works in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea,
California with her husband, Chris, and her Pomeranian,

beach and the abundance of natural beauty. Bev and
her crew continue to develop new programs designed
to meet the needs of women who aspire to challenge

Born and raised in Northern California,
Sunni spent her formative years exploring many various
creative arts and media, before finally finding her
calling in the design field and earning her degree
in Applied Art & Design. After working for a number
of years at a larger design group, Sunni set out on
her own to open Bella Fiore Art & Design, a web
and print design firm, founded in the belief that form
should not follow function,
but that form should lead function - giving
way to the greater influences of arts in commercial
media. Having worked for Manifesta Safaris for a number
of years, Sunni is extremely proud to be a part of
Jennifer's Journey and feels that this work is her
most prized example of this resolve. and A true testament
to her belief that when you work for great people,
with great ideals and shared aspirations- inspiration
is inevitable.
Sunni lives and works in Grass Valley,
California with her husband, Kenny, her son Haelon,
and her Long-Haired Chihuahua Kita. She continues
to telecommute throughout the country by day and
retire to her small-town back porch by night. Having
taken her first trip to Italy in 2007, Sunni has been
officially bitten by the travel bug and cannot wait
to explore
many more countries, cultures and traditions. Sunni
aspires to do more work for wonderful people, continue

and to savor more of life's little blessings- one journey
at a time.

Annie is a 16 year young pomeranian weighing just
over 2lbs. When globe trotting, she fits comfortably
underthe
seat in front of her human buddie, Bev Sanders. Once
airborne, Annie nestles under a blanket on Bev's lap
and quietly snoozes through the flight.
Originally from Massachusetts, Annie was a dedicated
therapy dog for Bev's dad. Bev adopted her shortly
after his death in 1998. Annie currently holds the
esteemed title of "Cutest Senior" awarded
at the annual Carmel-by-the-Sea Reindoggie contest.
She also captured the hearts of the audience taking "Best
in Show" at the screening of Best in Show, a favorite
event in dog-friendly Carmel-by-the-Sea.
Any day, Annie can be found curled up on Bev's desk,
precariously close to her keyboard. Whenever she needs
attention, she tiptoes around the keys making her responsible
for all typos on this website.
