All of our classes are hands-on and
during our week you’ll learn to
make traditional Turkish and Ottoman
dishes that will make you a hit of the
dinner party circuit back home. We’ll
also visit many of the food purveyors
in the Egyptian Spice Bazaar, and learn
about the history and culture of Istanbul
and the Ottoman Empire during guided tours. And, no trip to Istanbul would
be complete without spending time in
the Grand
Bazaar – 4000 shops filled with
carpets, textiles, ceramics, jewellery
and so much more!

Been There
My trip to Sicily with Mediterranean
Kitchens was a wonderful experience
for the senses and the soul....A trip
where I really got the feel of Sicilian
life and learnt all about the culture
and cuisine while based in at “Fattoria
Mose,” a beautiful old family
farmhouse set in ancient olive groves
about 10 minutes away from Agrigento.
We would cook in the morning, eat what
we had cooked for lunch and then spend
the afternoons touring the sites. Sicily
is a wondrous island with resplendent
history, beautiful countryside and
warm people. I can't wait to go again.
The other women in the group were fabulous
and sharing the trip with them was
an added highlight.
