We'll travel from Delhi in the North to Goa and Thallassary in the South, and in each city learn to make the distinctive dishes of the region. All of our classes are hands-on and we'll learn, not just about the fabulous foods of the country, but about the history and culture of this magnificent country.

About Mediterranean Kitchens
Mediterranean Kitchens Cooking Vacations offers hands-on cooking classes in India and a number of Mediterranean countries, including Morocco, Italy, Israel and Turkey. Each trip combines memorable cooking experiences, fine food and wine, a relaxed atmosphere, and plenty of time to explore some of the world's most historic cities and countries. All of the trips are led by owner/president Lindan Toole, a passionate gourmand and experienced traveler.

Been There
"Exploring the natural and cultural highlights while enjoying the local cuisine was a perfect combination…. Oh, and the hands on instruction in the kitchen was great too."
Linda, Ottawa, Canada

What Else?
Mediterranean Kitchens' cooking classes are combined with guided historic tours in each of the cities we visit. You'll learn to make fabulous dishes specific to each of the regions we visit – from the Moghul cuisine in Delhi to the Muslim Malabari cuisine at the Ayisha Manzil in Tellicherry. This is a trip for the lovers of fine Indian cuisine, and anyone with interest in exploring the many treasures of South Asia.
