Your
Inspiration: After
traveling extensively through the United
States, I was searching for my
next adventure. I used to paint
and draw as a teenager. After years
of working long hours, felt compelled
to get back in touch with my artistic
side. I googled what I wanted and stumbled
across Artista. After reading about
the art safari, I was hooked. I had
to wait two months for an available
spot. Those were two very long months.

Who
did you travel with? I drove
from Oregon to Carmel on my own.
Journey
Highlights: There
were so many, but without a doubt, finding
my creative expression with acrylic paints – it
was liberating and delightful. I astounded
myself!
Would
you recommend this journey to others? Definitely – it
was a safe, comfortable, and fun environment
to explore, make mistakes, and try again.
The Artista crew made the whole experience.
They were relaxed, easy to be with, drama-free,
and always put us guests first.
Where
do you want to go for your next journey?
I’d
love to go back to Carmel for a top-up
course, especially with Lauryn!
